WHO WE ARE:
Home owners in the Riviera District are united by a common contract,
written in 1961, which "runs with the land." But Rivi residents are
united by more than our CC&Rs--we share a love of the ocean, our
peaceful neighborhood, and relaxed way of life that defines San
Clemente. Our neighborhood volunteers serve to maintain social
traditions and promote the quality of life in the Riviera. We enjoy
social events annually, distribute news and our Directory
periodically, and hold community meetings to discuss relevant issues.
While Riviera District home owners hold no real property in common,
issues arising from the Conditions, Covenants, and Restrictions are
addressed by a separate Committee On Architecture whose members are
elected as prescribed therein. Current Committee On Architecture
volunteers are Pete Van Nuys, Brian Mertz, and Bob Joseph.
